The Scotish Route - Tour Overview

The Scottish Route 2026 brings four days of memorable driving through some of Scotland’s most iconic landscapes, with a relaxed, social touring experience from start to finish.

The Starting Grid

Guests travelling from further afield may choose to arrive the night before at our starting Hetland Hotel near Dumfries.

The tour officially begins with a relaxed welcome and a drivers’ briefing — a chance to meet the group, prepare your car, and settle in before we roll out together.

Day 1

Uplands Drive

Day 2

Road to the Isles

We begin with a stunning run through Glencoe before reaching Mallaig for the ferry crossing to the Isle of Skye.

After landing, we enjoy a passing visit across the island’s rugged terrain before crossing the Skye Bridge back to the mainland.

From there, the route flows north along sweeping coastal and Highland roads towards Inverness and onwards to Nairn.

Overnight: Golf View Hotel & Spa, Nairn (two‑night stay).

Highland Loop

A full circular route through the Highlands, showcasing some of the region’s most impressive lochs, mountain passes, and open driving roads.

This is a relaxed day with opportunities for photo stops, coffee breaks, and exploring at your own pace.

Guests preferring a slower day may unwind at the hotel’s spa or join selected sections of the route.

Overnight: Golf View Hotel & Spa, Nairn.
