Scottish Route Overview
We open at 8:30 AM and kindly ask guests to arrive no later than 9:00 AM for registration. Our departure is scheduled for 10:00 AM.
For added convenience, we offer a night before room and breakfast bookings at the same hotel at a special discounted rate. This allows for a relaxed morning and an opportunity to meet some of the other tour members the night before.

Mennock Pass: A breathtaking route through the Southern Uplands, winding past rugged terrain
Loch Lomond (Optional Quick Stop): A chance to pause and take in the beauty of Scotland’s most famous loch, with scenic viewpoints and peaceful waters.
Rest and Be Thankful Pass: A dramatic mountain pass offering sweeping views and a historic route once traveled by weary soldiers.
Coastal Route to Oban: A scenic drive along Scotland’s west coast, passing sea lochs, charming villages, and breathtaking coastal landscapes.
Guests will enjoy a stay at Knipoch House Hotel & Spa, a charming retreat overlooking Loch Feochan. In the evening, a carefully crafted three-course menu awaits, offering a selection of three starters, mains, and desserts to suit every palate.
The next morning begins with a buffet breakfast from 7:00 AM, ensuring we are well fuelled for the day. At 8:30AM, we’ll gather in the lobby before setting off on day two of the Scottish Route, ready to take in more breathtaking landscapes.
Great Driving Day: A thrilling route packed with scenic roads, sweeping bends, and unforgettable landscapes.
Glencoe: A dramatic drive through towering peaks and deep valleys, offering some of Scotland’s most breathtaking scenery.
Ferry to Skye: A short crossing to the Isle of Skye for a passing visit before returning via the iconic Skye Bridge.
Eilean Donan Castle: One of Scotland’s most iconic castles, perfectly positioned at the meeting point of three sea lochs.
Loch Ness Clansman: A perfect spot to take in the mystery of Loch Ness, with panoramic views and a chance to spot Nessie.
After an incredible day on the road, we arrive at Golf View Hotel & Spa, a peaceful retreat overlooking the Moray Firth. Tonight, we come together for a fantastic three-course dinner, featuring a selection of starters, mains, and desserts to enjoy.
Make yourself at home—we’ll be staying here for the next two nights, giving you time to relax and unwind.
The next morning begins with a buffet breakfast from 7:00 AM, setting the tone for another great day ahead. At 8:30 AM, we’ll meet in the lobby before heading out for day three of the Scottish Route.
Highland Loop: Stunning scenery, winding roads, and the magic of Scotland’s wild landscapes.
Spa Day (Optional Relaxing Day): A chance to unwind at the Golf View Hotel & Spa, where coastal views and soothing treatments create the perfect escape.
Kylesku Bridge: Sweeping curves leading to one of the Highlands’ most breathtaking crossings.
Epic Driving Day: Thrilling roads, epic views, and pure driving joy.
Returning to the Golf View Hotel for our final night of the tour, we’ll settle in and enjoy one last fantastic three-course dinner. With a fresh selection of starters, mains, and desserts, it’s the perfect way to reflect on the journey and share stories from the road.
The morning begins with a buffet breakfast from 7:00 AM. At 09:15 AM, we’ll meet in the lobby before setting off for the final day of the Scottish Route.
Lecht & Glenshee Ski Centres: Perfect spots to pause, admire sweeping Highland views, and grab a coffee or a bite to eat before continuing the journey.
Old Military Roads: Historic routes winding through the Highlands, originally built for troop movements and now offering scenic, remote driving.
Queensferry South: A picturesque stop with views of the iconic Forth Bridges and a gateway to Edinburgh—where some will conclude their tour.
And Onwards: Continuing south along the A7 and A708, winding through the Borders back towards Dumfries, taking in the final scenic roads of the journey.
