Protected customer funds are handled through the applicable trust structure rather than simply becoming unrestricted Route GT operating money.
For qualifying package bookings, Route GT also operates in line with the applicable requirements of the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018.

Hotels and other suppliers may need to be paid before you travel. PTS provides processes and protection arrangements for legitimate supplier payments made in advance.

A PROMISE.
The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 establish important requirements and traveller protections for qualifying package bookings.
Among other things, package organisers must provide prescribed information to travellers and put effective insolvency protection in place where the regulations apply.
For non-flight packages, the regulations permit different forms of insolvency protection, including bonding, insurance and trust arrangements. Route GT uses the PTS trust-account framework for protected bookings.
