Twenty cars across Milltir Cerrig, the Evo Triangle, Snowdonia, Black Rock Sands and Elan Valley — two memorable Welsh driving days.
The Welsh Route 2025 brought together 20 cars, from Lamborghinis and Porsches to Aston Martins and Alfa Romeos. Familiar faces from the previous year mixed with new Route GT guests, with Lion Quay providing the starting base before two full days of Welsh driving.
The route moved from Milltir Cerrig and the Evo Triangle through Snowdonia and Black Rock Sands, then south via Crimea Pass, Bala, Penmaenpool, Clywedog Reservoir and Elan Valley. Private dining and shared stops gave the weekend the social character that sat around the driving.
The published event write-up naturally divides into two distinct driving days.
The first day began over Milltir Cerrig Pass before a coffee stop at Rhug Farm Shop and a run through the Evo Triangle. Lunch in Betws-y-Coed broke up the morning before the route continued through Snowdonia.
The afternoon reached Black Rock Sands for a shoreline line-up, then used the North Coast Expressway for the final run back before a private three-course dinner.
Day two climbed over Crimea Pass and moved to Bala for a lakeside regroup before crossing Penmaenpool Toll Bridge. From there the route continued through mountain roads toward Clywedog Reservoir.
Elan Valley provided the final loop and a fitting finish to a weekend built around changing Welsh terrain and a group that had shared every part of it.
