Guests cover their own fuel, tolls and parking outside the included hotels, plus daytime food and drink unless specifically stated. Personal travel, vehicle insurance, breakdown cover, fines, repairs and attraction entry not listed in the package are also excluded.

An early start opens the road across higher ground and the sweeping Pennine landscape. The final route is designed to finish with momentum before the closing reception and an optional Sunday lunch with the group.
The Lakes Route is tested and refined to make the weekend feel much bigger than its two days. Alongside celebrated passes such as Honister and Kirkstone, the itinerary uses quieter connecting roads, open Pennine sections and carefully timed pauses so the route keeps changing character without losing its flow.
Abbey House Hotel & Gardens is the Lakes Route base — a well-established four-star property chosen for comfort, character and convenience. Breakfast, group dinner and on-site parking are all in one place, so the cars stay close and the group can properly settle in after Saturday’s drive.
